Bloody Maria (Reposado)

INGREDIENTS:

6 oz. Bloody Mary mix
2 oz. Black Sheep Reposado Tequila
1/2 oz. lime juice
6 dashes of chocolate-chili bitters
Agave nectar and flake sea salt or sal de gasano for rimming glass



DIRECTIONS:

  1. Rim half of a chilled Collins glass in agave nectar, followed by salt.

  2. Put all other ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake vigorously for 11 seconds.

  3. Pour into your rimmed glass over four ice cubes, and stir with a bar spoon.

Salty Chihuahua

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Black Sheep Blanco or Reposado tequila

½ oz. triple sec

6 oz. grapefruit juice




DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine tequila, triple sec, and grapefruit juice in an ice-filled shaker and, well, shake it. Add ice to a salt-rimmed glass, strain cocktail mix into it, and garnish with a grapefruit slice.

Manhattan

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Black Sheep Anejo or Reposado aged tequila 

¾ oz. sweet red vermouth

2 dashes Angostura bitters




DIRECTIONS:

  1. Stir all ingredients until chilled, strain, and serve straight up.

Rosemary Refresher

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Black Sheep Reposado tequila

1 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice

1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

3/4 oz. rosemary- infused simple* syrup

1 rosemary sprig, for garnish

 

*Rosemary- Infused Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 5 sprigs rosemary



DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, shake together tequila, juices, and simple syrup with ice.

  2. Strain into a rocks glass, over fresh ice.

  3. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

For Rosemary-Infused Simple Syrup

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil, continuously stirring until the sugar dissolves. Once the water starts to boil, lower the heat to a simmer.

  2. Gently roll the rosemary sprigs between your hands to release the aroma from the leaves, and then add them to the simmering liquid.

  3. Allow to simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Remove the rosemary sprigs. Pour the syrup into a container and keep in the refrigerator.

*This simple syrup is enough for several cocktails.

TEQUILA OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS:

2.5oz. Black Sheep Reposado or Anejo Tequila

0.5 oz. light agave nectar

3 dashes of bitters

Rocks glass

Orange swath and Maraschino cherry

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour ingredients into a mixing glass, stir and strain directly in a glass over ice

BLACK CACTUS

INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Black Sheep Tequila Blanco

1 tbsp. Prickly Pear purée

1/2 fresh squeezed lime

1/2 tsp. Jalapeño purée

2 oz. Club Soda

Roasted Gusano salt rim

Double Old Fashioned glass

Lime wheel


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Rim glass with lime and apply Gusano salt

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into the glass 

  3. Top with club soda and lift the mix with a spoon to the top.
